Getting Started

How does Found A Pet work?

Found A Pet provides smart pet ID tags with QR codes and NFC technology. When someone finds your pet, they can scan or tap the tag to access your pet's profile and contact you securely without seeing your personal information.

How long does shipping take?

Orders typically ship within 3-5 business days and arrive within 7-10 business days via standard shipping. Rush orders may be available for an additional fee.

Do I need a smartphone to use this?

While you need a smartphone or computer to set up your pet's profile, anyone with any smartphone can scan the QR code to contact you if they find your pet. No special app is required.

Using Your Tag

How do people contact me when they find my pet?

When someone scans your pet's tag, they're taken to your pet's profile page where they can send you a message. You'll receive an email immediately with their message and any contact information they choose to provide.

What if the finder doesn't have a smartphone?

Every tag also includes your pet ID number. The finder can call our support line or visit our website and enter the ID to access your pet's profile from any device.

How do I attach the tag safely?

Attach the tag to your pet's collar using the included key ring. Make sure it's secure but not too tight. The tag should be able to break away if it gets caught on something to prevent injury.

Is the tag waterproof?

Yes! Our tags are made from weather-resistant materials and are designed to withstand rain, swimming, and normal pet activities. The QR code is protected by a clear coating.

Account & Profile

How do I update my pet's information?

Log into your dashboard at any time to update your pet's photos, description, medical information, and your contact details. Changes are effective immediately.

Can I have multiple pets on one account?

Yes! You can manage multiple pets from one account. Each pet gets their own unique tag and profile page.

What if I forget my password?

Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to reset your password. You'll receive an email with instructions to create a new password.

How do I delete my account?

Contact our support team to request account deletion. We'll remove all your data within 30 days, though we may retain some information as required by law.

Technical Issues

The QR code isn't scanning. What should I do?

Try these steps:

  • Clean the tag with a soft cloth
  • Make sure there's good lighting
  • Hold the phone 6-8 inches from the tag
  • Try using the manual pet ID number instead
  • Contact us if the problem persists

NFC isn't working on my phone. Why?

NFC must be enabled in your phone's settings. Not all phones support NFC. If your phone doesn't have NFC, you can still use the QR code functionality.

I'm not receiving contact emails. What's wrong?

Check your spam/junk folder first. Add orders@founda.pet to your contacts to ensure emails aren't blocked. Make sure your email address is correct in your profile settings.

The website isn't loading properly.

Try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache. Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Contact support if issues persist.

Billing & Orders

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and PayPal through our secure payment processors.

Can I get a refund?

We offer refunds for manufacturing defects within 30 days. Due to the custom nature of our products, we don't offer refunds for change of mind once production has started.

Are there any recurring fees?

No! Found A Pet is a one-time purchase of $30.00 with lifetime service. There are no monthly or annual fees.

How can I track my order?

Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email. You can also check your order status in your dashboard.
